
With more than 20 years of experience in risk management, vulnerability assessment, public safety impact assessment, socio-economic, fiscal, and environmental impact analysis, Sheila Conway, Ph.D. serves as managing partner of Urban Environmental Research, LLC.
Prior to co-founding UER, Conway served as executive director of the Colorado Center for Environmental Management in Denver, where she oversaw the building of a 501c(3) non-profit public/private partnership to demonstrate and commercialize new environmental techniques. She previously served as senior project manager for ICF Kaiser Engineers in Edison, NJ, where she was responsible for building the company's first regional office from two people to 20, and increasing revenues by more than 350 percent.
She has authored three books and numerous articles, provided legislative briefings, and spoken at a number of workshops and conferences.
